This site is owned and operated by the Joaquín Tusquets de Cabirol Photographic Archive. It presents a small selection of the photographer's work for cultural and institutional purposes.

Photographs

All photographs on this site are the work of Joaquín Tusquets de Cabirol (Barcelona, 1904–1979). The economic rights belong to their lawful holders, under the designation Joaquín Tusquets de Cabirol Photographic Archive. Some original negatives and physical materials are held or preserved in the collections of the Museu Marítim de Barcelona. The professional management of rights and exploitation requests is coordinated with Fundación Photographic Social Vision, representative of the archive under the current agreements.

Partner institutions

The institutions taking part in the conservation, research and public-facing programme are: Museu Marítim de Barcelona, custodian of the negatives recovered in 2020; Fundación Photographic Social Vision, partner in the research and public programme; Fundación MAPFRE · KBr Barcelona Photo Center, presenting the 2026 retrospective.
